WP3 - Co-participation tables and Living labs

Objectives
WP3 involves the whole Consortium but more directly citizens and territory: it is coordinated by Fondazione Ampioraggio (IT) and develops in parallel with the operational implementation of the traineeships (WP4) which involves students and businesses more directly and it is the direct result, both at a temporal level that at the operational level, of the work done by the consortium in WP2.
Therefore starting from the M7 the KiNESIS project comes alive with WP3 and WP4, exclusively in Italy, for 12 months. This phase is also carried out locally in the partner countries starting from the second year of activity, thus inaugurating one of the first European living lab network on the topic of shrinking villages of this type; this phase is activated first in Italy as the experience with the Erasmus mobility internship carried out in the area of the Unione dei Comuni Terre dell’Ufita, represented by the municipality of Frigento, already identified some preliminary topics to develop in the follow-up phases (namely, tourism, culture and traditions, connection between generations, circular economy and sustainable development, local identity, business and entrepreneurship, the power of recycling). This experience and the studies done previously at the local level, allow presenting an already structured and operational program. WP3 provides for the organization of moments of confrontation, realized in two main forms:
- thematic public meetings;
- informal thematic working groups (tourism, trade, media-culture-traditions, agriculture-land resources, services).
They are useful for gathering: ideas, needs of the communities and the citizens, stories of the territory, traditions, memories, and they contribute, together with WP4, to the development of the strategic planning of the project, as well as to guide parts of the training and business activities.
